Bio
Jessica “Seeka” Tyndale is a Jamaican-Canadian children’s music artist, educator, and creator/producer developing joyful, inclusive content for preschool and family audiences. Through her live show, Seeka Sings, and her debut TV series, Seeka’s Skyway, Seeka champions early education, social-emotional learning, and diversity. With 20 years’ experience as a performer, four award-nominated children’s albums, and 10 years’ experience as an educator, Seeka brings a unique, engaging, and curriculum-informed approach to children’s content. She holds a Master of Arts in Translation Studies, with a focus on song translation.
Seeka has performed across Canada (and abroad) at special events, festivals, libraries, and schools. Her work has secured her four Western Canadian Music Awards nominations, two Canadian Folk Music Awards nominations, one Edmonton Music Awards nomination, as well as the 2025 Edmonton Artists' Trust Fund Award.
Seeka is also the mother of two young boys, who inspire her work daily.
